The skirt of the gown is really a throwback from an earlier time and contains elements of different eras. The shape of the skirt resembles the hoop-style ones worn in the antebellum south while the ruched ruffled tiers on the left side is more modern, but still has a vintage feel about it. Measurement Standards
The below is only a guide. It is highly recommend that whenever possible you get a qualified seamstress to measure your dress size. You'd better get someone else to measure for you because of the inaccuracy of self-measuring. Measure with undergarments is similar to those you will wear with your dress; please keep in mind do not measure over other clothing.

: Bust
This is not your bra size, when measuring you must wear a bra. Your arms should be relaxed, and down at your sides. Then, take the tape across the fullest part of your bust and around your back.

: Waist
This is the natural waistline, which is also the smallest part of your waist. Typically it`s about an inch above your belly button.

: Hips
Please measure the widest part of your hips, across the hipbone, which is approximately 7 inches below the natural waistline. This measurement is not needed for full gowns.

the hollow just under your neck: Hollow to Floor
This is the length from your hollow ( the hollow just under your neck ) to your heels. (Take the tape from your front, with bare foot ). You should stand upright and your feet should keep together.

Well I’m 7 months pregnant and i ordered a navy, and its beautiful, I ordered standard size 4 and I fit into it, just barely! but it fits and that’s what matters. I didn\'t have time to have it custom made so I got a size bigger and it worked, zipper works for me. Just pointing out that it has this sort of vertical rib corset to give u shape. In case your Prego bellies are too big it might be uncomfortable. very happy with this site and service
